Project Update
Currently, we have more than 300 desperate children a waiting help that include basic needs such as food, clothing, school supply shoes and other basic essentials. The needs are greater than the naked eye can see or express in words. It is mind boggling. The challenges are greater than we ever thought or dreamed of. Children have been accepted to various boarding schools, as well as local day schools, but the cost is prohibitive and we do not know of any possibilities or know how grandparents can obtain the required fees, now or in the near future. A cost of 300 US dollars, including essentials, is needed to sponsor each child. The list keeps on growing. We had to suspend encouraging more orphans in the list as this might bring sorrows and encourage foolish thoughts and questions, such as "Why not me?". These are not far-fetched thoughts. Most of us would do the same. If only we could have known what tomorrow holds, we would have seen the needs yesterday and cherished the dreams of tomorrow.
